Victoria Shampaine, M.D., is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. Her treatment style is collaborative, empathetic, and participatory.

Training

She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. After an internship in Pediatrics at Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital, she completed her Adult Psychiatry Residency at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She then received Fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at NYU/Bellevue Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident.

Experience

Dr. Shampaine has clinical experience in a range of treatment settings, including outpatient, partial hospital/day treatment programs, and community mental health. She has worked with diverse populations experiencing trauma, mood, and anxiety disorders, self-harming and suicidal behaviors, and serious mental illness. Since 2011, she has worked in eating disorder treatment centers. She applies this extensive knowledge and experience to the environment of private practice.
